Vibration Measurements

Human vibration is defined as the vibration felt by the person as a result of direct contact with vibrating surfaces.

Hand-arm vibration exposure can be caused by hand-powered, powered tools in production, quarrying, mining, construction, agriculture and forestry. In long-term exposure, symptoms such as vascular diseases, bone and joint diseases, muscle diseases may occur.

Whole body vibration exposure includes vibration magnitudes and exposure times that cause mild discomfort but are not immediately apparent, but are more long-term health effects.
